Thirty cents per download. And all a download is, is a tick on the download counter of the stats program. More is better. 

That, along with affiliate income and Google AdSense, pays the bills. Bills like the cell phone (price set by virtual monopoloy, with ruthless fees) and cable bill (another monopoly, with high fees and sold only in &quot;bundles&quot;). It also pays the taxes, including the toll that is collected every 5 miles or so on the highway (no, it doesn't pay for the highway). What goes around comes around.

I'm not a distributor, but I'm a competitive webmaster. I agree with you about how bad it is, but I don't share the idea that this is a bad thing to be eliminated. The root causes is ignorance. Ignorance the permits monopoly and corruption. Want to stop the fire? Amateurs try and douse it with water. The pros know you need to cut off the fuel supply.</description>
